that is interesting and promising. I’ll take the 4GB model without wifi for zynthian!
Sadly their authorized austrian distributor website www.pishop.at is down. No price available…

Yes, but mostly the supported Linux distributions are not as stable as Raspian and they are often not as long supported.

Also I am not sure about the audio quality of the onboard audio output…
