how can a rotate the display output. I’m using the Waveshare3.5A and try display_rotate,lcd_rotae and so on in /boot/config.txt. No success.

I marked this thread for deleting as I were a little bit impatience finding a solution.
It’s simple, you have to add to the first line dtoverlay=(your lcd type),rotate=270

It seems a good title for people looking for an answer to a very specific question so I would suggest it’s left on the forum to address this issue.
(it helps me cos every time I put a new image onto my amp2 machine I have to add this line to the config…)

It’s display dependent.
And rotating the touch matrix is a second step.
