rtpMidi on Zyntian (rPI5)

I’m terribly sorry if this is a repeat question. I haven’t really had issues with this in the past (on my rPI4) but since switching to the rPI5 i do have issues.

My issue is that rPI5/Zyntian does not seem to play nicely with rtpMidi (for starters, there is no longer any option to enable it in the midi UI settings what i can see?)

When i start up the rtpMidi “applet”, it detects my desktop machine (W10) but not the Zynthian unit (it complains about the ip).

It may well be me not remembering the steps from rPI4, but at the same time, something seems to be missing here (and probably something obvious i’m sure, but it beats me…)

I can see my rtpMidi device in my DAW (connected to my desktop) so this part works good and dandy, but it is the node itself - Zynthian that does not quite seems to be “connected” properly…

Hi @ledan !

You can enable/disable the MIDI network services from the MIDI-IN options, from the zynthian UI admin menu.

It’s explained in the documentation:

https://wiki.zynthian.org/index.php/Zynthian_UI_User's_Guide_-_Oram#MIDI_input.2Foutput
