Hi Zyntheads, I’ve have a setbfree question for you. How do I assign a controller to the swell effect? I don’t see a swell display on the Zynthian UI and I don’t think there’s a VNC GUI for setbfree on the Zynthian. I’ve been using the volume as a sort of swell effect because it’s there on the Zynthian UI but it isn’t a perfect substitute because a swell effect has a bit more of a LPF so that the bass sound passes through. That way you don’t lose the comping bass when you back off on the swell. If anyone has any thoughts, I’d appreciate it.

It looks like swell is not exposed to the Zynthian UI. I see it does exist in set free source code so maybe a feature request on Zynthian GitHub may be required to expose it.
As a workaround you could try to emulate the swell with an audio effect or two.
