I’ve found myself wanting to replace my hardware synths with zynthian in more than one way, but i seem to fall into this same issue: I can’t sound design with a external midi controller (Korg nanokontrol 1) if i don’t first create a midi mapping on each snapshot and engine.
This for me is a huge pain and makes the whole process a PITA, so i was thinking if maybe there was any way of making, for example, AMsynth, have some default values every time it’s instantiated as a layer. I try to create a smaller selection of synths that i use in my Zynthian but i would do this with helm, surge and OB-XD if possible.
