Sfizz polyphony limit?

The thing is, I don’t know what it exactly represents. Is it in K and total memory to reserve, or bytes per sample, or kbytes per sample? In any case, the max permitted is 32768. I’ll see if I can find out, but IMHO we should just set it to 32768. I’ve done that on sfizz run directly on a 4GB RPi4 and didn’t notice a memory usage difference.

I raised an issue with sfizz that it uses more voices than necessary for velocity crossfades:

Velocity crossfades allocate voices for velocities where the amplitude is zero. … When configuring velocity crossfades, I use something like this: > <group> xfin_lovel=25 xfin_hivel=60 xfout_lovel=61 xfout_hivel=84 But I noticed that it seems to use more voices than expected. That issue can be solved by adding `lovel` and `hivel`, like this: > <group> xfin_lovel=25 xfin_hivel=60 xfout_lovel=61 xfout_hivel=84 lovel=25 hivel=84 This seems like a bug, though it's easy to be wrong due to the number of factors going on in a sample player! This happens using Zynthian Oram version.
