Should layer encoder clicks cycle throu’ effects as well as layers…?
Doesn’t it depend on if you’ve clicked the layer button on the overview page so the effects appear as different items in the list?
Probably but I’m not sure what you mean by overview page.
If I press layer select after editing an effect page the cursor remains on the effect and the order of the other selected layer re-order… and the same sort of thing happens if I stay on the Piano sound.
Why are you creating the effects as standalone layers instead of inside the synth layer? 
To allow me to use audio in from an audio injector.
