Got confused for a second there trying to imagine how a VST version of Drum Buddy would work.
So a tomato can turning around a 40w bulb you say⌠(considers throwing away his BeatBuddy).
On a side note, this is sort of what Daphne Oram was doing with 35mm tape but so much more complex and flexible.
I think that would be debatable see:
particularly:
Five strips of synchronized 35mm film stock that you can draw on to control sound parameters is pretty powerful and flexible! The two approaches are different - I wouldnât say one is more âcomplex and flexibleâ than the other.
Sorry about that, I meant that for Daphne. A 40w bulb on a punctured rotary can and few optic sensors (+ analog synths, etc) ainât quite the same.
Ah, now I see.
Back on topic : Do you think itâs a matter of asking them to compile it for the arm processor ?
They have it compiled for Arm but only for mac. Youâd need to ask them to compile it for Linux Arm and also as an lv2 plugin, not VST or AU.
