Does zynthian start with no audio input? Does zynthian start with no audio output? Does zynthian not start with errors in the log?

Thanks @riban…it stops on the boot screen with ERROR Audio/Midi

Try each of these settings,one at a time;

hw:1,0

hw:1,1

There are 2 devices on the sound blaster. We need to see if either works.
