Has anyone had any luck getting this working? It’s the one module I can’t get any sound from at all, which is a shame as it’s one of my favourite ever plugins.

I took a look into the sources of the Noisemak3er:
It seems that it uses JUCE and that the LV2 port is based on a JUCE-LV2-wrapper. I think we have the same problem as for Dexed: paramters may not be consequently mapped in their value range. For Dexed I used to write a complete LV2 system around the engine. This maybe possible also for the Noisemak3er, because seems that it has a really good organized engine - but this takes some hours.
Perhaps you will give it a try?
Beside the only way may be to use it with Carla - or as LV2 plugin from DISTRHO (perhaps with some disadvantages in handling).

For me, the NoizeMak3r plugin works perfectly. Are you using the Gorgona image?
