How would we see a tool like tap beat extraction integrate into the zynthian infrastructure.
Presumably it should be able to update the local clock?
And what MIDI operations would it respond to?

Do you mean deducing tempo from human tapping? It would be a useful feature to add to the master timebase which is currently jack-midi-clock but soon to be zynseq. I have added as zynseq requirement R7.
