So I’m new here and just wanted to start by saying thanks so much for making this. I’ve tested it with the official touch screen and onboard audio. Will go ahead and get some of the gear. What a great idea well executed! Thanks again!

Thanks - I’ve ordered the hifiberry from the shop on here. I’m hoping to stick with touch screen operation but so far using the official touch screen I’m getting a lot of problems with the screen going blank.
When you say "official touchscreen ", you mean the “RBPi official display”, true? 
Yes I mean the one from the pi foundation - sorry for lack of clarity.
It’s just I have one spare that needs a project.
