super!! :grinning:

She Lives My Zynthian Machine Lives…

I assembled it yesterday, had to flash the RPI5 recovery image first (thanks for the tip @Chrismat) then it ran…

But there seems to be some software errors when switching between PAD/STEP, if you reboot it works again.

Could you send the zynthian ui logs?
From the webconf terminal, use this command just after the error:

journalctl -u zynthian -n 60

Thanks

It can be reproduced well .
Load the Falbla drum machine and press Pad/Step.

update:

I installed a new image and then carried out an update on the Zynthian. Now everything seems to be working.

It would be nice to record building process and post it on zynthian web site as marketing material. We need more of it.

Zynthian V5.1, what a great step forward compared to V4 and the previous software version before the ORAM release. Sure, there are certainly many new requests and optimizations here and there, but I think this development step is a huge milestone. There are so many improvements. These improvements are particularly noticeable in my setup by

  • very flexible chain management
  • mixed midi mode per chain between multitimbral and active chain
  • non-glare and larger display
  • extended operating concept, more buttons
  • Pianotek with full power
  • lower latency
  • hassle-free plug n play recognition of standard midi devices, also via USB, e.g. keyboards, sequencers, etc.
  • significantly more power with the help of Raspberry Pi5
  • etc.

At this point a big thank you to the Zynthian development team!! :tada:
