Afaik, the TUS plugins present only their graphical interface (on VCN) without connecting with the audio system, on attempting to load them without firmware files, because trey require them to start the sound engine. Defaulting the provision of ROMs, that is their DSP code, the plugin GUI is just a complex set of circuitry simulated in software, with a cute visual layout of profiles and colours.
That is probably why on the startup log they seem to remain stuck at the initialisation stage.
