Upgrading to RbPi4

So my RbPi4 arrived today. I mounted it on my Zynthian box and when i tried to test, i discovered that my version has USB-c port instead of Microusb, what makes my power supplies incompatible, so i’ll have to order a new one…

But a good news is i could plug an USBc to USB adapter just to test without ANY modifications in the case, as the image below shows

The HDMI ports can’t be accessed but anyway i won’t use it.

Is there any difference due to the fact it uses a USBc port instead of Microusb ?

Thanks

? There is no Usb-Micro Rasp4. And I urge you to buy the Original Raspi USB-C Power-Adapter.

Sorry for the ignorance, didn’t know that

using an adapter from Micro to C didn’t work for me (and Pianoteq). Of course, it boots, but the amps weren’t enough.

I’m using the Jun Electronics one

It works. It has a switch.

I’m using a Cana kit as well, got the Pi 4 Basic Bundle with 4GB. Super happy with the performance improvements for my Zynthian. I have a home-brew soon to be posted in “Success Cases”
