V1.0 aluminium chassis available for a new builder

Hello, since I now own a V5 beautiful beast, my old zynthian chassis is sitting alone in a drawer without a great future ahead … too sad for him.
He’s one of the first editions made with love and transferred to me by its creator @jofemodo in the early phase of zynthian history, and was carefully transported in my hands from Barcelona to France.
A piece of history who deserve a better future.

Beware the cutouts are for a Rpi v3 board, so you may need some drilling and cutting if you’re planning on use a more recent version, of using a different lcd … well, this is for the real DIYers out there :slight_smile:
Inside is the small expander boards, midi and jacks connectors + wiring

I’m willing to offer this case for no money unless the delivery costs don’t ruin my day.
If any Zynthian museum is willing to take precedence, please let me know.

If anything bad should happen to ReCremisi89, I would like to be next in line. I have several Pi3s kicking around that need homes, and they can do plenty of audio work still :>

The chassis is moving today to its new home.
@ReCremisi89 will of course need to post a pic in “Success cases” once the new build is ready :slight_smile:

The case arrived, and I already started planning the adaptations for bringing it back to work with rpi5.
