This looks quite useful for custom Pi 4/5 builds as it addresses two topics easily:

  • No more need for Micro HDMI adapters.
  • Ability to power over USB-C or screw connections for 5V power.

I wonder if the USB C port supports device mode.

I’m using something similar (image-wise it looks identical) from china in my build:

So far it works as intended, i have only used the USB-C for power, but could test it for device one day if that is helpful, even though something tells me it is only a power USB!

The new model has PCIe M.2 adapter too.
