The webconf terminal is handy, but sadly it wraps at 80 columns, despite having space for at least 120. None of the usual Linux tricks for adjusting the line width work – well, they clue the shell in, but the output still wraps at 80 columns. (For example, if I use ls by default the output is set for 80 columns. If I set a larger line width, ls outputs as though it’s a longer line, but the terminal wraps at 80.)
Sure, I can use ssh, but is there a fix or workaround? Google AI says the terminal automatically resizes, but it’s lying! I’m using Oram, loaded within the last month or so.
