Wiring of Encoders

Hi, I’m still trying to fathom out the system for loading and saving snapshots and I don’t seem to be able to save a snapshot (or rename it ?).

I’ve just run the zyncoder_test program and it has shown the following switch assignments:-
CH - switch 2
LS - switch 0
Back - switch 1
Select - switch 3

or on starting Zynthian

SETUP GPIO SWITCH 0 => 107
SETUP GPIO SWITCH 1 => 23
SETUP GPIO SWITCH 2 => 106
SETUP GPIO SWITCH 3 => 2

Is this correct?

The process I am trying to create a snapshot from fresh boot is as follows:-

Select ‘New’ - snapshot 1 with ‘Select’ button
Select LinuxSampler engine with ‘Select’ button
Select Channel 1 with ‘Select’ button
Select SFZ/DSK-Grand Piano with ‘Select’ button
Select Classic Grand Piano Bright with ‘Select’ button

  • patch is now loaded
    Long press LS button
  • Channel 1 shows SFZ/DSK - Grand Piano/Classic …
    Press LS button
  • Display goes back to Engine selection

What am I doing wrong?

Hi Chris!

You have reversed the switches CH and LS. It’s a wiring problem :wink:

Regards!
