If you plug this in with a 40 pin IDE cnnector and all the lights go out on the Pi you’ve got the connector on backwards at one end…

The pedal board should soon have 4 control pedal inputs ( well maybe two at least)
More disturbingly it’s the first zynthian proprietary piece of kit that’s gone into this construction!!!
