No I just mean that although the setting says “MIDI INPUT CHANNEL” it actually means “MIDI OUTPUT CHANNEL”
(I don’t know the exact wording, not in front of my Zynthian).
So if you set 2 chains to the same MIDI OUTPUT CHANNEL, they are the same (which is, alltogether, another issue, which was there before: Zynbleton, User experience and stories - #16 by rv5 - which led to a related ticket: Allow MIDI channels to be linked to specific output destinations · Issue #1485 · zynthian/zynthian-issue-tracking · GitHub which is currently stalled due to misunderstandings)
