What a bumper collection of attendees were online last night and a fun evening was had by many, if not all of them. It was one of those nights where Zynthian was discussed quite a lot. There were new and old (and some very old) faces. Some of the discussion heard over the clatter of keyboards taking notes wereā¦

- If only you could have more than two inputs and outputs to the Zynthian that were balanced with microphone preamps and phantom power and ADAT and SPDIF and XLR connectorsā¦ oh! You can - just plug in a Behringer UMC1820 - if your conscience permits
Actually, itās the new XO Mini thatās a similar idea - it uses a RPi4. Itās in pre-release modeā¦ data here:
It has no display or buttons, so itās quite a bit smaller.

I was enjoying myself so much that I didnāt take many notes. There were Australians, Americans and a couple of Englishmen, neither of which were in England.
- We were treated to the delights of hearing a new (and bargain priced) Asteman pan drum
- Speed limits on various highways were discussed without reference to Kraftwerk
- A new scale of temperature should be devised to indicate how painful or pleasurable it will be when diving into some water - The British North Sea remains permanently in the painful range
- The Zynthian Mixer has been resurrected - watch out for it coming to a Zynthian near you soon
- Some investigation of powering Zynthian from speakers was performed with little success
- Heavy trainers / bikes are a cheap way to improve your fitness

Jofe and I were in the same region of Germany at the same time so we met up for the obligatory GroĆes Bier und Bratwurst. He left the day of our Zynth Club meeting so didnāt attend as he was travelling. It was a good meeting where we managed to plan some improvements to the base code that we have both been putting off for too long 
. It was lovely seeing the autumnal colours in the forests on the hillsides in that part of the country and embarrass myself with my schoolboy German from 40 years ago. āIch spreche deutsch nicht gut.ā
