I would like to host my custom Zynthian in a stronger case for my gigs and I ask you some suggestions about ready cases that should host:
- RPi5 with Active cooler
- audio hat
- 5 inches touch LCD
Very much a work in progress but I am putting mine in a 3U flight case. Mounting the screen has been the biggest challenge.

I am looking for a more compact solution
The screen pretty much sets the style of any enclosure so that is probably the best starting point. The secondary consideration is access to the pi connections so the pi tends to end up in the corner of boxes.
As far as cooling is concerned an active fan is purfectly possible. There is a zynthian pwm fan driver systemd service that can control a fan speed which is a much more refined solution rather than simply running a fan flat out… power supply is an important consideration but if you do use connectors inside the device do make sure they have enough space and the final concern is ensure you have easy access to the ssd. Also consider how hefty the whole device is.. its easy for hdmi and usb cables to twist the device around if its small.
