Direct access to Main Chain for V5: ALT mode + CTRL (improves sooperlooper workflow!)

Hi V5 (and variants) owners!!

I implemented a little tweak that could improve some wortkflows, specially when working with sooperlooper in the main chain.

It’s a direct access to Main Chain. You simply enter ALT mode and push CTRL (it should be highlighted with alternate color to differentiate).

This works from mixer and other screens, but not from control, bank & preset, to avoid breaking other workflows.

For instance, as you normally have the ALT mode enabled when working with sooperlooper (you should!!), this allows to change the active chain very fast, by simply pushing MIX and highlighting the desired one by rotating the knob#4 (or using the left/right arrow keys). Then click CTRL to back to the sooperlooper control screen.

This change is only in Vangelis but i plan to push it to Oram ASAP.

great stuff, i had not spotted this in the wiki!

(can some one point me in the easiest direction how to be notified when something new is on wiki by the way, i should probably know this, and it is surely off topic, but i think it not worth it’s own topic…)

I see the wiki has an RSS or atom feed (wiki.zynthian.org/api.php?hidebots=1&urlversion=1&days=30&limit=50&action=feedrecentchanges&feedformat=atom).

If you Google for an RSS feed reader, you’ll find various options on how to get notified. E.g. there is a Chrome extension.
