How to use vocoder in new zynthian update?

Hi everyone, I updated my zynthian to the new update that came out, before I could access vocoder through the effect chains that included a vocoder

Which vocoder do you wish to use? By default, “MDA Vocoder” is enabled and available in the “Modulation” category of audio effects and “Tal-Vocoder-II” is enabled and available in the “Pitch” category. There are also another three vocoders that may be enabled which all appear in the “Pitch” category. Remember that processors are categorised and you need to switch between categories (left/right arrows, screen swipe, encoder 3) to view different types of processor.

I really wanted to try them all, but I was curious about the surge XT.

Also I wanted to check how to adjust a vocoder again

Then do try them all and let us know your thoughts and hear your results! :face_with_monocle:

The same as before?

Can you believe I once missed this obvious and simple step… :expressionless:

How much extra soup do you want?

Free soup for all. When I got my zynthian up and running the first time last november I reflashed the SD three times because I thought not all plugins were installed before finding out about vertical swiping the category knob.

Don’t whisper it loudly but I had to ask…

No ! :scream: No more ! … No more soup please I beg you… :sob:

Well a vocoder chunk built around the phrase No more rooooook soup. . . .

Will be enough and we will here no more about it . . .

Oh, when I tried the vocoder in the version before the update, it was through a chain of voice effects, and I can’t find that chain in the new update.

Have you read this description of how to use vocoder in oram?
