RBPi3 Wifi 5GHz support

Alright, after reimaging and then updating software, finally both WiFi and MIDI work perfectly. Phew.

I will note that the web conf tool only listed the 2.4GHz networks in my area, and didn’t list my 5GHz network at all, even though it’s supported by the RasPi 3B+’s chipset. Doesn’t matter overall though, I just hooked it up to my 2.4GHz network and called it a day.

Thanks for the support. Sorry this was such an odyssey. Now I can finally start digging into what this thing can do.

5 GHz band should be enabled. The enabled channels for this band will depends of your location. The device will enable 5GHz channels depending of your country (you can configure it from the Webconf’s Wifi Advanced Config) and the band conditions in your area (it tries to detect radar activity).

Can you send the output of this command:

iw list

Mine is:

Thanks!

Changed the “Country” line to US and it worked right away.

Thanks!
