RPi 4 + Kit v2 + HifiberryDACProXLR + Waveshare3.5A Problems

Hello,

i’ve problems with the configuration of
my zynthian project!

when i boot zynthian i have only a white screen on my waveshare 3.5A! On the HDMI 1 output of the raspberry my 19" monitor start up zynthian and ask for zynthian login and pwd.
After entering login and pwd, i’m on the zynthian terminal! The waveshare rest on white screen.

My material:

Raspberry 4b
PCB Board v2 Kit
Hifiberry DAC pro XLR
Waveshare 3.5A
5 pin encoders (4 pin without the +pin)
Midi in/out/thru
40 pin ribbon bus cable (26pins for the waveshare)

Please help me for configuration!

You display seems to not be correctly connected or configured. Difficult to say.
Could you send some photos of your setup, including detailed ones from your ribbon cable?

Please, re-check your ribbon setup. It seems enough complex to hide some inocent error. Put special attention to every connector orientation …

Perhaps you could connect your display with a more simple ribbon, without Hifiberry nor encoders, jut for testing it works.

This driver is already installed on the zynthian SD image, so you don’t need to install it. In fact, by doing so you could break things, so if you do so, you should re-burn the SD

BTW, is the display working after installing the driver?
Also, what image are you using?

Have you tried the SD image with only the display and a basic ribbon cable?
Could you send a screenshot from the webconf’s dashboard?
