Hi and a very good evening. May I know is there a way to add a RCA connector to the Mini 2?
You donāt need to use audio jack on pcb. There is audio out 3 pin (right, ground, left) connector on the pcb where you can connect any other type of connector including RCA. Clearly you still need pcm5102 card soldered on pcb to do digital to analogue conversion to this 3pin connector as it does for jack soldered on pcb.
Anyone have a mainboard and facia for sale in the USA? Iām getting interested in building one.
Hi and a good afternoon. I nearly got all the parts. just one last question please,
in this picture. Screen Post Removal
may i know what method should i use to remove the post? is it attached by an adhesive?
Yes, it is attached with adhesive and maybe with a little bit of solder but they are easy to remove. Use pliers to remove them. I have once attached a video in this thread how to do it.
thank you for you clear response always. it seems the wiki needs to be updated for the RP5.
edit : this is the video mentioned. thank you!!
I would suggest to create a new topic on this. This question is not related to zynthian mini topic.
hi! i finally finished building the Zynthian Mini! but alas Ive printed the wrong case. Now waiting on a new one. Ive successfully updated, rebooted and then choose the Mini V2 kit. but after rebooting, the screen orientation is still upside down but the ātouch orientationā is correct.
Edit: I made a silly mistake! I connected the DSI cable to the wrong port hence why the it was upside down! Now everything works except for the 1/4 jack not having sound. the 3.5 jack from the sound card works fine. small matter as I was wrecking my brain trying to get the screen to rotate 5 minutes ago.
