Do you get webconf and can you see the GUI log…?
Set the version of the zynth you have in the webconf. It defaults to v3 now or something
@jofemodo, if it’s only the kit, we need to ask why the IP isn’t shown.
Looking at the pic it’s not connected to a wired network, and the wifi won’t be active will it?
True that. Will look getting into wiring it and finding out if I can get to the webconf.

indeed it was necessary to set the kit to V3 (instead of V3 pro).
However I’m having a new problemnow: the encoders stopped working

The log doesn’t show anything unusual.
Press the debug logging button, wait for then restart and turn/switch some knobs.
And check your hardware 
Same here, Kit V3 Pro was selected, after change to V3 zynthian boots, but encoders don´t work.
What helped was to change the kit to custom and then selection for wiring layout to Mcp23017 Extra.
OK! Please, could you create an issue on the tracker? I would investigate the problem …

I have experienced loss of encoders which have returned with a new image on machines on occasion in the past.
The encoders I have seem to be functioning on MC23017 boards I’m using, and I’m running bleeding edge in most places.
i2cdetect -y 1 will at least confirm the i2c comms.
Don’t forget to screenshot your webconf home page to the ticket.

EDIT: managed to connect it to wi-fi, updated from 30-03 to newest and it’s FIXED. Wohoo!
Hi. I found out that the kit I have V2+. But switching to that kit makes no difference. Also @spurkopf 's trick with changing the wiring doesnt make a difference. MCP23017 Extra is already default. Changed it to MCP23017 Encoders but same result.
