Latest musical "effort" 🧐 .. Thanks Zynthian

Note the ā€œnoiseā€ of the Hammond in the first second of recording, where there is silence… I didn’t want to remove it to give an idea of LIVE…

I used the following effects:
Fabfilter: reverb (all instruments and voice)
Fabfilter: Delay (all instruments and voice)
Arturia FET : Compressor (all instruments and voice)
Waves Vocal rider : voice
ASH Ultra : ALL
OZONE 9 : ALL

I’ll see who I might have trussed up in a basement. . .

        Thanks!

Oh yes, this happened to mee too

This piece that I started recording is not a musical effort… but an attempted suicide… these are not musicians, but Martians… This piece alternates a bar in 5/4 and one in 4/4 and ā€œevery now and thenā€ one in 2/4 just to not bore those who try to record… Really scary musicians…

In this Christmas season, my soul suffers because I see so much celebration and unfortunately so many people at war… disappeared peoples and peoples who are disappearing… I wanted to dedicate to THEM a piece of music that starts from the American Indians and reaches the Arab countries and Ireland.A brushstroke across the World…

It does feature bells.

Here is my first recorded Zynthian jam (:face_with_monocle:)…

Basically 5 tracks recorded directly in reaper (one take jam), effects from Zynthian:

  • Ibanez Blazer and Sire V5 5 String Bass with respective NAM Models directly plugged into Zynthian.
  • Vibs (VCSL or Terkelsen, not sure), VG Northern Trumpet and Karoryfer Virtuosity Drums (intentionally all free) with sfizz, played with Keylab 88.

No real Mixing, just bus compression, eq, tape and limiter.

Thank you for this wonderful tool!

sounds really realistic

True, very nice on the low mids… on the highs you can hear that it has no harmonics… but nice. Then the trumpet is difficult to play with a keyboard. The SWAM trumpet has the ability to make the ā€œhalf valvesā€ that make that slight glissando that would be great in this song… Unfortunately I have the studio dismantled otherwise I would ask @hannesmenzel for the midi track of the trumpet to put the SWAM trumpet in.

Unfortunately there is no midi track, I played that live. Otherwise this is also just a test how Zynthian can sound. On my computer I would use the Straight Ahead Samples trumpet.

Very beautiful and very humbly I put you a piece recorded by me where you can hear at the end a flugelhorn solo SWAM (the tenor sax is also SWAM, but it is less beautiful)…

I keep pushing SWAM because I hope it will be part of Zynthian one day… also because it is based on models and not sampling, so it is a lightweight software…

I really like your vocals! The trumpet is also great. The ones on my zynthian are sufficent for live use I guess, so if I would program them on pc then there are other options (SAS my current favorite).

I had it too and I like it a lot… SWAM has the only additional possibility of the ā€œhalf valveā€ which for me who played the trumpet and the flugelhorn for some years, makes it more realistic… but this is just my opinion and taste…
