That audio interface looks mega cheap and similar to the crappy ones I use for accessibility testing, etc. I would be suprised if the input impedance was high or that its input stage wasn’t noisey. They also tend to have very small (or no) input buffer memory, more heavily loading the host machine (zynthian) which can lead to xruns much more early than a (half) decent soundcard.
I really like the idea of a future zynthian having switchable hi-z input and phantom but you wouldn’t want to put phantom volts on a TRS jack so it may require more space to provide XLR (ideally Neutrix combo) sockets.
I don’t have any pedals/preamps but I have Roland GP8 and use the line level out. The Zynthian is amazing with guitars. I kind of never bothred with the guitar features inside but there are some very good sims inside - both for high gain tones and clean guitars.
Searching t3k without API key? How? I don’t know how to do that. The documentation clearly says you need an API key to use the “select” API. But if possible, i would prefer to work without API key, of course!!

The downloading window sends a “refresh” message to the “opener” window before closing. Could you check if some JS error is logged?
For those Interested I’ve had my eye on this buffer, Redeemer Ai1, not exactly cheep but it looks high quality. They seem to be based in the US and so far I’ve not found a suppler in EU. You’re lucky here’s a link for the UK. Perhaps there’s space in the ZynthianV5
Perhaps consider sustainable mounting at this stage. I will be an issue further down the line and the range of connectors we might wish to support Audio/optical will be, as with all things zynthian, everything we’ve ever seen as in the way of an audio connector.
That’s not always a good thing. The brother of my best man patched mains on 1/4" jacks, relying on them being stereo to keep tip and ring seperated.
The documentation doesn’t mention if it was live on tip or ring.

Sorry, that makes no sense with the redeemer buffer. It’s designed to be at the other end of the cable and particularly makes sense when longer cables are being used.
Hello and thanks for everyone involved, the integration is wonderful and I can simply add models from my smartphone. How cool! I have some remarks on the topic and want to ask if it might be possible to change some behavour:
After a download, the Tone3000 tab closes automatically. Which means that if you want to install more than one model, you have to re-browse Tone3000 and eventually also filter/search from the beginning. It would be great if the window remains open and you got the chance of installing more than one model in one go.
It would be great if webconf would be able to show and select subfolders in a tree view or similar. Right now it installs the models in nam models root. At least I have some noteworthy sub categories where I want to put models into, primarily NAM, NAM+IR, Other (pedals) which is important because you need to know if you need an IR (-engine) afterwards. Differentiation between A1 and A2 might also be good, at least until all NAM engines support all of them. Finally other people might have other categories they want these models to install to (by tolex color or amount of fairydust-mojo).
It looks super-cool but … we can’t use this app with zynthian because it’s based in JUCE, so no path parameters, no way of loading files from zynthian UI.
We should keep pressing to get JUCE team to implement “string” parameters.
As i told above, this plugin can be integrated with the zynthian UI because it’s JUCE-based and it doesn’t support string parameters. We need to convince JUCE team to support this feature, as it’s needed for integrating this type of plugins in embedded devices.
