Another week, another vegetable updateā¦ Gathered around the virtual table we exchanged insults and compliments in equal measure and discussed anything that came to mind including:
- Audio Injectors that were no longer injecting audio
- How important is a RTL SDR plugin in the scheme of things (jury still out)
- Maybe USB audio isnāt that bad after all
- There is ice in the UK as well as the USA but it might be thin at times
- Python is usefulā¦ sometimes - but donāt play tunes with it unless you want your timing to sound as good as me!
- There are only two types of storage array bins: paper and non-paper
- Jitsi curses those who try to demonstrate Zynthian enhancements
- How many directions can a project be pulled before it snaps? (There are many contrasting ideas for user interface design.)
- ssh is ssh, except when its better
- Will the mixer be the killer feature we have all been waiting for or just another footnote in the rich history of this most excellent adventure?
- Who drives 100 miles to ring bells (or test their eyesight) then doesnāt provide evidence

I am in already. Early starter 
Three nations, two continents, one goal (what a boring world cup that would be!). An evening (afternoon) spent discussing many things but not vegetables!
- On display was @MrBroccoliās progress in acquiring samples
- Given enough time, this might lead to a new (but familiar to some) Rhodes piano sound appearing in the sample library
- Is there a good tremolo plugin (yes) and where were the Tremolos from (Dagenham)
- Can and should we move to using .deb packages for Zynthian applications and data to reduce the quantity of weird installation scripts and if so, where would they be hosted?
- Whatās the difference between (and the pros and cons of) traditional software packages (rpm, deb, etc.), snaps / flatpacks, containers, etc. (I like the sound of containers)
- The benefit (to the supplier) of a good instrument demonstrator
- Demonstration of the mixer working with multiple inputs drew gasps of astonishment and bated breath with excitement (well, in my mind! - in reality it was simply (stunned?) silence)
- Some feature requests were discussed
- Of course, the big talking point was the freshly announced Zynthian Mk 4 which we were all suitably impressed with, some having even ordered one already
- It was suggested that we have a recommended listening / watching list of things that we thought others would enjoy but the idea of a book club where we then discussed one each week was less well received
- We ended with a promise of a show-and-tell next time from our very own @freeKey of his current project which involves manuals, varnish and a cherry on top
- How to improve your wifi and Internet access (some get it from the sky like some musky magic whilst others travel across the country to acquire it from their childās home)
- How do you avoid working from home from impacting the more important activities like playing music? (It tended to involve having different areas for these two activities)
- Is it time for ISPs to recognise that upload is a first class citizen and should be treated the same as downloads? (Not yet but the time is coming for an upload revolution)
- Can a man from the north get his internet connectedā¦ yes and no (different men)
So join us next time when we may return to vegetables and see if there is room for a veggie bed on top of @freeKeyās contraptionā¦
